Excursion to the Morsleben repository for radioactive waste on 25.03.15

On 25 March 2015, 12 students and research assistants visited the Morsleben repository for radioactive waste in Saxony-Anhalt as part of a day excursion. Thanks to the extensive support provided by the Federal Office for Radiation Protection (Bundesamt für Strahlenschutz BfS) and the Deutsche Gesellschaft zum Bau und Betrieb von Endlagern für Abfallstoffe mbH (DBE), the participants gained a detailed insight into the various areas of the former potash and rock salt mine.
